Description
The New York Dolls were very important to the first wave of Punk bands in the U.S., and the U.K., but after an amazing debut, their scond was pretty poor. Till Thunders took the frontman roll and formed the Heartbreakers with former Doll Jerry Nolan and Punk poet Richard Hell, saddly Hell is not on this CD. Thanks to Thunders conections with Malcom Mclaren, the Heartbreakers got a slot on the Anarchy in the UK tour. I guess to confirm them as Punk, but the sound on this CD is more of an amphetamine driven Rock "n" Roll,with the swagger of the Rolling Stones, which the Dolls also had, but muchmore…
