DEAD OR ALIVE FANS BEWARE! Sony have yet again got the 12" mixes of this confused. Whats on here is in fact the "Performance" mix, not the official "Murder" mix. This is a shame because the Murder mix (originally the first 12" version released back in autumn 1984 - i've still got it) is the best 12" version of this song and is the one they still play in clubs/80's nights today. The performance mix came later as a 2nd 12" single release in 1985.Despite this let down, what we have here is a welcome re-release of a great song. One of my all time favourites. I have followed Dead or Alive throughoutmore… the years and although they've put out the other odd good song, this is still their finest moment. I read on their webiste that Steve Coy was in negotiations with Sony to re-release this so you'd think he'd have checked to ensure the right mixes were going to be on this release. Oh well, hopefully one day ALL the great mixes will be released on one CD, for now, ignore Pete Burns' turn on Big Brother and enjoy the REAL reason why he was originally famous.In fact, 5 stars for the song, 1 star for Sony/BMG.
