This is a tribute from Jeff Beck to good old-fashioned rock'n'roll, namely Gene Vincent and especially Chris Gallup, his amazing guitarist.
This is obviously a work of joy from Jeff, nd his solos are inspired, edgy, fast bursts of pure energy. This is Jeff Beck in another light, and it is a must have for his fans, and generally for all fans of great guitar playing. The band he picked up, the Big TOwn Playboys, really do a good job as well. I am not a nostalgic of the 50's and 60's, but this album is on of my all time favourites.
Get this album, you will not be disappointed !!
