Description
With the Abyss, we find another one of those blackmetal side projects that are popping up all over the underground scene... with a twist! The Abyss is made up of the same 3 guys who make up the ever-classic band, Hypocrisy, only they all play different instruments. The Abyss plays a form of brutal blackmetal with a slight melodic edge at times. The drums, played by Peter Tägtgren, are blistering and unrelenting, much in the style of such acts as Dark Funeral and Gorgoroth.
