Burt Bacharach - At This Time (2005) Retail CD
Description
A very disappointing release. The music is much as you'd expect from a craftsman of this genre. Doesn't quite scale the heights of Burts 60's songwriting peak but a text book example of 'easy listening' and I mean that in a positive sense.
However if you're expecting a multi-channel mix or at the very least a high rez stereo version of the album on the dual disc side you will be disappointed. What's on the dual disc side? Nothing but a short video interview with Bacharach!
If the dual disc format is to catch on then more effort needs to be made on the part of the record companies to makemore…
