This is one wonderful album. The songs are special and reveal more everytime you hear them. Kitchen Table and California Snow are classics but there is not a weak track on the album. At the Borderline in London last month he played with his band The Guilty Men and was special - and he did not even play the above two songs. Dave Alvin is one of America's great, relevant singer/songwriters. Don't hesitate - buy.
