Ministry of Sound ONE (2009) Retail CD
Description
OK... It is a collection of number ones but number ones do not make great dance tunes. They make good pop tunes that have been embraced by most listeners not all dance listeners.
There are some classics here like 19 by Paul Hardcastle and S'Express' Theme from S'Express but this is the problem - S'Express did two songs that were far better with Hey Music Lover and Superfly Guy, but they were not number ones.
I think Gatecrasher have got it sussed with their Club Anthems release.
This CD is a great idea but unfortunately, Dance Anthems do not make great Pop Anthems.
