Description
This was the last proper album of new songs released in Zappas lifeime, although the point is diluted slightly by the (welcome) inclusion on the CD edition which contains updated versions of classic band routines which have consistantly eveolved since the sixties. To me this collection always seemed to be as vicious and coherent a swipe at eightes culture as "Money" was for the sixties. Zappas humanistic concerns also warm up what could sometimes be a chilly worldview. When "Jesus thinks you're a jerk" suddenly dispenses with the clownish nursery rhymes and transforms within a beat to a melancholicmore…
