I bought this album when it first came out. Impulse buy. And it still remains one of my all time favourite ECM-jazz albums. The title track is one of my most-played tracks, and like the rest of the album it conjures up aural landscapes which haunt you forever. As with all ECM label music, this album is beautifully crafted in every detail, from excellent recording quality to brilliant musicianship. It's a must-buy for any lover of experimental acoustic jazz guitar, and despite the adjective experimental, the whole album never once loses its joyous ephemeral tunefulness. Not one duff track on themore…
