Description
This is an album I return to time and time again, but only to listen to certain tracks. Eleven songs on offer, of which four are superb, three pretty good and the remaining four rather disappointing. The opening track, 'The Days of the Dancing' is punchy, original and fascinating - you will rewind this one many times. Maire offers a distinctive and refreshing version of 'Big Yellow Taxi', far more soothing than the original . 'An fharraige' is gentle on the ears, and a very lovely tune.
