The original Pointer Sisters version of this track came out when I was going to university and, as a result of many fresher discos, I have very fond memories of it. I would be harsh on this cover if I thought it was anything less than exceptional, but - as we've come to expect - the unstoppable Girls Aloud don't disappoint. This really is a great cover that's very well sung and is in absolutely no way inferior to the original; the contemporary, rocky feel breathes new life into the track, but what I really like is the energy and almost tangible sense of fun that runs through the whole thing andmore…
