Description
This'll surprise you, but I'm not going to slag this off completely. Despite it's nu-metal Meatloaf credentials, like it or lump it, 'Bring Me To Life' is a supremely crafted, expertly produced, and a downright good tune. Paul McCoy's rapping is atrocious, granted, but Amy Lee has got a cracking set of pipes (stop it...), that really - ahem - breathe life into what would have otherwise been a doleful trawl through the bowels of formulaic mediocrity. It tastes like the Devil's very own, but I like it, and at least I'm being begrudgingly honest. I'm off to wash my hands...
