Description
This is a pretty bizarre film. It jumps from surreal comedy to standard action movie. It also cant decide whether to be a kids movie or something for adults (apparently its was supposed to be an 18 but was edited down to a 12 and this really shows).
Will Ferrell is sort of miscast. He does his normal off beat routine which works in one scene then seems out of place in the next. He's no action hero which makes the action scenes look strained and unconvincing.
The plot revolving around time travel/other dimension is undeveloped and lacks any originality. The effects again are an odd mix. Jumpingmore…
