Sam Kinison - Why Did We Laugh? (2006) R0 Retail DVD CD case
Description
I was introduced to Sam through my love for Bill Hicks and after checking out his material on YouTube, I thought this dvd would be good value. While the documentary is ok, although it relies upon too few people to talk about Sam (including his brother, who surprise surprise, is also the producer of the dvd), the live gig is a big disapointment. It looks as though its filmed at the back of a theatre on a mobile phone in about 1955...black and white, cuts that make little sense. I'd go for another one than make my mistake and rely on this as an intro to the genius of Sam - God bless his soul
