Description
This is the album that started it all for the 90's premier all-girl singing group and it still sounds great today. The tight harmonies and powerful lead vocals knock spots off current female acts Destiny's Child and TLC. The girls handle upbeat material and slower songs with equal aplomb and never fail to sound classy. My only complaint is the rapping sounds dated (it was made over a decade ago!) but songs such as 'Hold On' and 'Don't Go' simply don't date. The suprising thing is how little current popular R'n'B production techniques by the likes of Rodney Jerkins et al are missed. A classicmore…
