Beanie sigel's 3rd album is a Supreb offering, the beats and and lyrics are VERY tight, espicially tracks like 02. I Can't Go On This Way, 06. Purple Rain , 08. Change it really makes u think how seriously underrated this dude is. For real listen to his verse on cant go on this way, it REALLY makes you feel this guy!. the tracks with peedi crack (New State property hispanic rapper) are extremlty tight as hell too, he has a very unique but easily likeable voice and flow that bring the songs to life nicely plus him and beans have a nice feed off each other (espicially on the street gutter "Flatlinemore…". Then you've got the real hardcore tracks such as: Im wanted (feat Cam'ron), 11. Flatline (Feat. Peedi Crakk)12. Tales Of A Hustler Pt. 2 One Shot Deal (Feat. Redman)that really show beans is not only the most deepest realest rapper out but he def isnt meant to be messed with on the streets. Then u have the simply amazing tracks (Purple Rain, Lord have mercy, Look At me, Bread and Butter & Feel it in the air) that instantly give this album near classic status that it clearly deserves.the only slight downfall of the album is he couldnt get the rza(wu tang clan producer) produced track he orginally wanted from the get-go which really could of been amazing if it happened. Also for those who purchased the state property vol2 album will know the beans/jayz track has already been useed here also which might leave some feel a little short changed. But keep in mind beans has been in Jail for a while so he hasnt been able to do a new track with jigga ( plus jigga is the new Def jam president now, very busy man...) Plus we're missing a classic beans/scarface collab that theyve always done on beans previous 2 albums, another shame really...Its a shame this album wont go platinum despite how increidbly tight it is(one of the best roc a fella albums released in a LONG time right next to freeways debut (also extremly slept on, pick that up too.)Trust me the album is THAT good.this is much better than ur garbage shady/aftermath album...o yeah, look out for a peedi crack solo album this autumn!and pick up young gunz and freeway's debut albums if u havent! Support beans's clique..peace.
