I put this among the best releases by any artist fitting in to the 'Aphex Twin and harder' category, alongside Twin's own I Care Because You Do and Autechre's Draft 7.0. For me, although to be fair I haven't had it that long, it has the edge on other key Snares releases such as Huge Chrome... and Rossz Csillag... because it sounds like such a labour of love for Mr. Funk. The production is mindblowing and even when the tempo are at speeds approaching those on Winnipeg... as they are in patches, you can hear evry last bleep and creak as clearly as if they were notes in a Haydn String Quartet.
