The Wildhearts have never really released a 'bad' album, but this stands high even in their terms. As tradition dictates it's a different beast than what came before, not as aggressive or abrasive, but not as sugar soaked as 'The Wildheart's Must Be Destroyed.'
This is a sound of a line up happy with itself, and confidently exploring the edges of their sound.

As with all Wildhearts albums, the one thing that unifiesmore…, is the hook. This song lives in your head from the first listen, and tracks like Plastic Jebus and the sensational The Only One are killer. In fact it's hard to find a weak point on this album, just high point after high point.

Download the single, or the Mazel Tov Cocktail, or You Took The Sunshine From New York and you can hear a band that's never been comercial, but sound more sucessful than anything else on the market.

Awesome, and probably the best album of the year.
