Outside of "Baby I Got Your Money" I'd never heard of, or anything by, Kelis until about 3 years ago when I was living in Atlanta. A roommate of mine started playing Wanderland and I was instantly blown away. Her voice was amazing and the production complemented here beautifully, although the Neptunes didn't do a good job of trying to cover the fact that the music is a little "keyboard-y" but in this case I think it works.

Since this album, Kelis has taken a turn for the worse (in my opinion). I have no idea where she's going in each song I've heard from her lately. I mean "Bossy"?? ormore… that song where she's tied up with Nas?? I'd rather shave my dog than listen to those tracks (though Mr. Bangledesh did a good track with Tha Dogg Pound so it's not his fault). It seems that nowadays she's trying to cash in on the "more slu+y than talented" gimic a-la "Dirty" Christina Agulera or everything Jennifer Lopez did. This CD brings me back to a time where music sounded sincere and melody was important. In todays world... it's all about the videos. So sad. Get this album if you want to her Kelis' REAL music.
