Description
Having been fortunate enough to have seen Eric live -- this CD/DVD does him and his music justice. It's recorded early on in his career, and it was this series of shows that brought him to the attention of a wider audience. Cliffs of Dover is a highlight -- it always is live, as Eric just lets go with some awesome improvised licks. Not a hint of the restraint found on the studio album version. The only fault is his singing -- he's not the best -- but don't let that put you off. If you like guitar; play guitar or just love great musicianship -- buy this.
