I confess I bought this CD simply because I am a great fan of its producer Chris Harley, aka Chris Rainbow - a cult pop hero who recorded many jingles for Capital Radio in the 70's and some very sought after albums. He also produced Donnie Munro's old band, Runrig. This record is in the genre I would describe as Celtic Rock. Donnie Munro is a very strong singer. The album grew on me, and some of the melodies really touched me. Something very magical about them. On the downside, I didn't like every single song. Some were a little too cloying. I liked the songs I couldn't understand themore…
