Description
Having already heard Moonchild, (the previous album for this line-up) I was amazed by how fresh and innovative this album was. Mike Patton, Joey Baron and Trevor Dunn are true masters of improvised performance and this album shows that extemely well.
The music has lots of dynamics, ranging from some of the heaviest music (think Ruins or early Fantomas) to some of the most atmospheric work-outs. The longer track lengths allow the performers and Zorn to develop ideas further and also make more musical ground within each track. Highly Recommended
