Description
Delerium's music is a tale of two halves: their earlier albums are chock-full of dark, beatless, vocal-less atmosphere, while their later work is more joyful and crammed with female guest singers. Chalk and cheese. For the former sound, think collapsing cathedrals, lightless caverns and immense, empty, beautiful landscapes. For the latter, think Deep Forest without the twee bits, or Enigma with a modicum of originality and without the European naff. So, this album, their second, is very much in the "old" Delerium mould.
