My father somehow acquired a copy of El rayo-x in the early 80s which was long before i was ever thought of. He always played the album on his turn-table from the day I was born. It stuck with me, the tracks were in my head from the first day i heard it. The mind blowing high pitch voice of David Lindley himself is compelling enough, but the pure talent of what can only be described as true musicians shines through on this album. A mix of heavy rock, reggae and the blues are all herein and all to the most exceptional standards. In my opinion this album has never and probably never will gainmore…
