Honestly this soundtrack to the New Guy is average in most senses. Not above avergae nor usually below. The best tracks have to be Im just a kid, outsider and so fresh so clean. Without the inclusion of the big bands/artists this soundtrack would be lacking in most areas. Im just a kid delivers clever lyrics on childhood solidarity in a very punk kind of way. Greenday are basically same old Greenday: Outsider stays firmly with Greendays powerful punk roots and is certainly a song to mosh to including a great bass riff.
