This CD shows a different side to Dave Weckl. We see a much more groove orientated Weckl. Great examples of these are "The Zone", "101 Shuffle" and "Designer Stubble". The styles of the songs on the CD are R&B/Blues, Funk and New Orleans genres.Tom Kennedy also shows his great talent on the bass on "Transition Jam". He also plays acoustic Bass and Fretless bass on the recording. His solo on "Someone's Watching" has a resemblence to Steve Bailey (I may be mistaken!).
