Annette was the last "original" Mouseketeer to be chosen for the Mickey Mouse Club. The tracks on this collection show her progress from Tall Paul (the first Sherman Brothers hit, her soundtrack hits (Merlin Jones and Monkey's Uncle), to her work in the "Surf Teen" movies with Frankie Avalon.To a collector there is nothing new, but as an introduction to the sound of Annette it's a blast!Her voice was double tracked to make it stronger in the studio, and this set up a precedent still used today. An influential artist in many respects.
