It really doesn't get any better than this.This is sammys solo peak in many ways.Firstly,he's never sounded better.An absolute masterclass in rock singing.secondly,the lyrics dont make me cringe like they do on some of his other work.(all of VOA for example).But best of all,the thing that makes this really work is the songwriting,commercial rock at its finest!Its all so perfectly balanced too.Fast rockers,catchy pop,gospel ballads andeven a credible stab at death metal.(entering the danger zone).If memory serves production is faultlesley tackled by geoff workman.Great sleeve too.Enjoy!
