If Black Sabbath hailed from the Southern States of the U.S around the early mid 90's, and were fronted by a uber talented delta-blues-poet named Pepper Keenan, then you would expect them to make an album like Deliverance. Amongst the 14 songs, there are darker corners of metal / hard rock, but in a gist, it is quite unique in the face of "Heavy Metal". What I mean by that is, the soaring riffs and brilliant leads are all composed in a laid-back but gritty manner.
