Description
If I had to take an album to a desert island, this would be the one. It has every mood - to go from a pure love song of Satin Green Shutters to the gloriously raunchy Patricia the Stripper to the epic Spanish Train is rather special. If only radio stations would play Waiting for the Hurricane and not the dreaded Lady in Red, I think a lot of fans would be so much happier - and probably the rest of the world would be too. This was the album that made me go and buy the earlier CdB albums, which are, frankly, my favourites. Better lyrics, simpler arrangements and very little schmaltz. What elsemore…
