Description
When "Cold Lake" first appeared late in 1988, the metal world was shocked. Gone were the corpsepaint and evil looking musicians; on the back cover is CF leader Tom Warrior and his three cohorts with moussed hair and colorful attire, looking more like Poison or Danger Danger than the menacing and brilliantly innovative Celtic Frost who changed the metal landscape forever with their first three classic albums. And the music was wimped-out as well. It appears that the 'sleaze-metal' boom of the era convinced Warrior that this was the way to go. Well, it wasn't. CF fans ignored the album and no mattermore…
