Description
Something about Wir sind Helden reminds me of Blondie. There's the same 80's kitsch, but it is refreshingly mixed with modern rhythms and electronica, and sophisticated song writing - even if it is sometimes hard to make German fit the fast flowing tempos, but that isn't Wir sind Helden's fault.Each time of listening becomes more rewarding as you really start to see where they're coming from. I don't think they're going to revolutionise the world of pop, but this is a worthwhile addition to the CD collection of anyone who considers themselves having an eclectic music taste.
