Description
This is the strongest of Carly's good run of albums in the 70s. At her most confident as a writer - lyrics and melodies - she has a great team onboard to complete the sound.Slick upbeat, almost disco tracks include hit singles "You Belong To Me", one of my favourite tracks, Tranquillo (Melt my Heart); "In A Small Moment" and "Haunting" are cleverly crafted tracks; "Devoted To You", an Everly Brothers cover, is a sweet/saccarine (depending on your take) duet with then husband James Taylor.All together my favourite Carly Simon album, and well worthy of a five-star rating.
