Description
Throughout the group's history, Blessid Union of Souls has been unable to shake constant comparisons to Hootie & the Blowfish. Both feature African-American lead singers backed by workman-like bar bands with a pop sensibility. Walking Off the Buzz will do nothing to get rid of those comparisons, but it can be considered a pleasant diversion. The lead single, "Hey Leonardo" is a fun, radio-friendly hit that features the kind of playful pop culture references that you'd find in an Adam Sandler song.
