Burnt by the Sun successfully combine elements of grindcore with Dillinger Escape Plan's talent for erratic songstructuring, to create an album that is both techinically proficient and brutally aggressive. The band differ from Dillinger, in that they do not bludgeon the listener with schizoprehnic riffing but almost coerce the listener into their violent compositions, through its fantastic tempo changes. Opener "Dracula with Glasses" shifts from groove based hardcore to blast beats, then to traditional rock timings, before launching into the roaring second track.At times the sound is nothing shortmore…
