Dizzy Gillespie and Maynard Ferguson both hailed this player as a prodigy, and people expected great things from him. However this album really doesn't compare to either of these jazz legends. With rather cheesy arrangements, and restricted improvising from Arturo, this album really doesn't hold anything special. And as for his screaming... well, he can do it, but for some reason it doesn't sound half as good as Maynard or Dizzy. When I bought this album, I expected a lot and was disappointed. However I've heard this guy live and he's GOOD. So I'd recommend him. I'm sure he's got a good albummore…
