After the huge success with Off the Wall Michael returned to recording with his brothers and the knowledge he gained from qworking with the great quincy Jones certainly paid off. This album reeks with classic R n B/Pop songs from the ambitious but infectious "can u feel it" to the disco funk of "lovely one " and "walk right now". However the stand out track for me is "heartbreak hotel" this is the first glimpse of the evolution of Michael the superstar a haunting but totally original composition it is one of my favourite MJ songs to date.
