Description
I can't fault it - nothing ground-breaking but the songs and Glenn Hughes' vocals make this one of the best things I've heard this year. I must be honest I'd never heard of the guitarist before but he's great as well, and the album really works because he hasn't attempted to 'widdle' over absolutely everything. I've listened to the album about half a dozen times and it just gets better. If you like conventional, melodic rock than you won't go wrong with this. Outside of Purple this is in my top three Glenn Hughes albums, along with 'Hughes/Thrall' & John Norum's 'Face the Truth'.
