As stated in the previous review, fans of technical Death Metal bands such as Atheist, Pestilence, Cynic or Human-era Death need to pick this album up as quickly as they can, because it will simply blow them away. Featuring riffs which are more intricate than most other bands' solos and including the distinctive gruff vocals of Trivium's Matt Heafy, riffs and vocals courtesy of Crotchduster's Jason Suecof (the main driving force behind this band), and the ridiculously talented Daniel Mongrain (Martyr / Gorguts) on lead guitar, this is absolutely essential listening for anyone who likes their Deathmore… Metal to contain musicianship of the very highest order. If the bands already mentioned appeal to you, you should waste no time in checking out Capharnaum because they will impress you, without a shadow of a doubt. If you imagine the sound of Tech-Death legends Atheist, except with two equally powerful vocalists and a far meatier production, you won't be too far from what Capharnaum sound like. Utterly brilliant in other words, go and buy it! Willowtip records have come up with yet another absolute gem.
