Dylan had a bad eighties, with two notable exceptions: Infidels (1983) and Oh Mercy (1989).Infidels is tragically underrated. The songs are top rank without exception, and there are a couple of real gems - Jokerman and Man of Peace. Some tracks don't make an immediate impression, but grow on you. I've owned the album in one form or another for 15 years, and it just seems to get better with every listening.Musicianship is beyond reproach.
