It looks as though most of the reviewers who really like this album a lot, have had it or been familiar with it for a long time. Me too. Had it on eight-track about 1973 or 1974 as far as I remember. I love it. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is the best story ever written and that's not open to debate as far as I'm concerned - and this music has the magical quality of being able to transport me to Middle Earth. But then I was a kid in the late hippy era and minds were often modified to accommodate and appreciate this sort of music back in the good ol' days - much as minds have been modifiedmore…
