Just buy the CD and listen to what you would find if you went to an encyclopedia and looked up "Real Country Music", and you will not be offended by what most of today's so called country music (sic) radio stations define country music to be, someone in a country cowboy hat or western garb and then he or she sounds like someone ran over an ally cat with their wailing and rock and pop garbage that is force fed down our "listening throats" as "country?" music! Why is it I hear that it is too country or he or she sounds to hillbilly or too much hick? How can anyone be too country? Didmore… you ever hear of someone being too classical, or too pop? I think we all should reassess what is and is not country music. Buy and listen to Sammy Kershaw's "The Hits-Chapter One." You will not be disappointed in your choice or the man and his music. A talent like him only comes along once in a generation, so don't leave out one of the most significant influences to grace the radio waves in years.
