Sole remaining original Temptation Otis Williams supplies the most memorable moments on the group's 57th album, Ear-Resistible. Unfortunately, the baritone stays in the background except for a bit of preaching on "One Love One World" and a call to party on, you guessed it, "Party." Ear-Resistible may appeal to hardcore Tempts fans; 1998's Phoenix Rising went platinum. But little or none of the group's greatness is on display on this disc's long series of uninspired midtempo ballads.
