This collection could really have borrowed Dave Gilmours aborted title for the Pink Floyd Best of set "Some of the parts". It's a varied selection of the sort of things that musicians in well known bands get up to in down time between world shattering albums. It really shows what a rich compost the music of Yes grows from, with its confluent streams of inspiration.Highlights are the items from Badger,(tony Kaye's short lived post Yes band) and the melodic mystery of Jon Anderson's contribution. Yet all in all, one is still left with the impression that they music of Yes is indeed greater than the sum of it's parts.cmaconman@aol.com
