Everything that project:Bal-Sagoth put out is of an extreme sublime standard - 'Atlantis Ascendant' being of no exception; there is literally NONE quite like the almighty Byronic hero himself - this album featuring the best lyrics and storylines he's done yet, complete with the continuation of 'The Splendour Of A Thousand Swords Gleaming Beneath The Blazon Of The Hyperborean Empire' saga, outstanding artwork by Martin Hanford and epic cinematic/warfare inspiration from the rest of the bands input. This album IS HUGELY inspirational and just by owning it (along with their other four albums!) you realise how impeccable and superior you are!!
