What an amazing array of music! As an avid online listener to Aled Jones on his Good Morning Sunday programme on BBC Radio2, I know the wonderful music that we're treated to every week by Aled and his production team. GMS, being a programme 'for those of faith, or of none' as Aled perfectly describes it, is full of insightful interviews and music that has the same uplifting and inspirational qualities that Aled selects for the tracks of his own albums that he records.

The Good Morning Sunday album has a wealth of great talent represented here...from the deliciousness of Pink Martini's 'Gardens of Samson and Beasley' and Kate Rusby's 'Village Green Preservation Society', to the hauntingly beautiful contemporary sounds of Eva Cassidy's 'Wade in the Water', my fellow Australian, Lior's 'This Old Love', Allison Krauss's 'Living Prayer', Emilie Maguire's 'Keep Walking', Gretchen Peter's 'Sunday Morning', Sarah McLachlan's 'Angel', Jeff Buckley's 'Hallelujah', Libera's 'Locus Iste', The Adventist Vocal Ensemble's 'Mary Did You Know'....and on the wonderful list goes with so many more amazing tracks, superbly headlined with Aled's own perfect version of 'You Raise Me Up'.

This is a fabulous journey into an outstanding range of music that captures the inspiration of Good Morning Sunday. Wish as I may, I can't listen again to the weekly replays of Aled's show wherever I am, but with this album in my car stereo here in Australia, that special flavour of Aled's programme can travel with me.

You'd be hard-pressed to find another such uplifting collection....for those of faith, or of none.
