I am a great fan of the old style 2d beatemups and Marvel vs Capcom 2 doesn't dissapoint.Although it might seem a bit dated for the 3d gamer, in true Capcom style it is a solid hyper kinetic fighting game.The huge cartoon graphics and sublime animation make it a visual feast.I meean, the hulk fighting spiderman ?Ryu fighting Wolverine ?Ken and Cyclops fighting Magnito and Megaman ?Even if you are not normally tempted by 2 dimensional fighting games, this is well worth a try.With the simple to activate special moves to the huge multi-hit combos, there is plenty here to apeal to casual and hardcore gamers alike.One point I would make though is that it is much more accessable with the new smaller X-Box pad.
