added on July 30, 2007, at 13:15 by Sarge!| My wife and I heard this album played at a beach-side restaurant in my native Sweden and asked the guy behind the bar where he had bought it. Turned out that he had stumbled upon it earlier in the year when travelling in South America. This album is fantastic! If you are a Stones fan, you will like the completely new mixes in bossa nova style, led by sultry female latin voices. If you are more into lounge and jazz, this is along the lines of Stan Getz's collaborations with Joao and Astrud Gilberto, but with a more modern twist.I couldn't wait for the UK release so have bought it as an import.Highly recommended! | |
