Default Bewitched - Series 1 (2005) FS R1 Retail DVD

I bought this dvd having fond memories of Bewitched from the 1960's when I was a child. It is great to see the early episodes before Tabitha arrived and even before they moved into their all so familiar new house with the nosey neighbour. And surely this programme must go down as having the greatest ever title sequence and theme tune!Much has been said about the availabilty of the Black & White set in the US aswell as the Colour version but only the the Colour set being available in the UK. I was initally disappointed with this but have bought the colourised version anyway being wary that the Black & White NTSC version which could be purchased direct from the US would not play aswell on my DVD player. It must be said that the colouring of the episodes by the studio is exceptional - you really wouldn't know this process has been used and I've compared these episodes with later ones I have on video and you really can't tell the difference. That said I wish the studio had given the choice between the formats on the same discs but no doubt that would have used up too much space. This is a very fine well overdue set of a great 1960's US sitcom which undoubtedly I'm sure J K Rowling has used as a little bit of inspiration for her Harry Potter Books - particulary the marvellous episodes featuring Aunt Clara!
