This is one of my alltime favourite film soundtracks. Such a shame that it will go unnoticed due to the film's failure. Vangelis is outstanding at trying to create an album that reflects an old era. A magical combination of haunting music, chorus, synthesized music, orchestra and melody.Conquest of Paradise has been re-used many times in tv advertising/film trailors and is the main theme of the film. However this is an album full of many memorable tracks.
